Good Old Days Car Wash

Good Old Days Car Wash is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization which provides employment and job training opportunities for individuals, 16 and older, with developmental and intellectual disabilities. These young men and women may have Autism, Down Syndrome, Asperger Syndrome, or other disabilities.

Currently, in Stokes County, there are lack of jobs, employment skills instruction, and social interaction for this population. This is especially prevalent as they age out of the school system and other services. With support from businesses, individuals, and other resources we believe these “uniquely abled” young men and women will have opportunities to be a part of the work force in our community.
